Mountain biking can be intimidating. Worried about getting lost on the trails? Need more girlfriends to ride with? Perhaps you just want to corner better and get in shape. We get it!
This one day festival was designed with you in mind. Sign up for a custom skills clinic and make friends at your same level.
The Bike Festival is your day! Come to ride bikes, make new friends, and have fun! If you joined us last year, you will notice the format is a bit different. Based on your amazing feedback, we are focusing on more skills clinics. Maintenance classes will be taught prior to the festival. Read on to learn more!
Come as you are and leave a better rider! Skills clinics will have a maximum of 12 riders of similar skill-level and two instructors. The clinics will be broken into two sessions and cover topics like body positioning, technique, and how to ride barriers. Our coaches have been trained by a Certified Professional Mountain Bike Instructor and they are all women! Reserve your spot when you register! Read more here.
BIKE MAINTENANCE CLASSES
No longer fear getting a flat! Participate in hands-on classes with women mechanics to learn about proper bike maintenance, suspension, chains and derailleurs, common trail repairs, and how to change a flat. This year we are offering maintenance classes at local breweries in the month leading up to the festival. Pre-registration will be required. Bring your bike and experience the satisfaction of wrenching on your own bike!
ARCTIC MTB RACE
Don't think racing is for you? Think again! Racing isn't just for the ultra-serious or competitive. Hosted by Arctic MTB, the race will be 'short track' style. This means the course is only one mile long and you make as many laps as you can within 30 minutes. The race is spectator friendly and a blast for all skill levels.
FOOD AND FUN!
In addition to your bike, bring your lawn chair and enjoy each other's company. Families, partners, and friends are welcome. Have any questions during the event? Just stop by the welcome/registration table. This zone is base camp! We will provide a late lunch between the skills clinic sessions and an ice-cream sundae bar following the race.
